## What is the notifications Priority tab?

The [Priority] tab for notifications replaces the previous [Verified] tab, and as of the time of writing, it has been implemented on the web and the iOS app.

Notifications from mutuals and large accounts are shown in this [Priority] tab.

The [All] tab shows all notifications, including the contents of the [Priority] tab, and [Mentions] shows only mentions and replies.

For accounts that receive a particularly large number of notifications, checking the [Priority] tab allows you to confirm reactions from mutually followed accounts and large accounts without missing them.

## Under what conditions is the Priority tab shown?

The [Priority] tab for notifications is not shown for all accounts.
