Adobe Animate service discontinuation reversed; continued in maintenance mode

Adobe had announced that it would end the availability of its 2D animation production software "Adobe Animate", but has reversed this plan and announced that it will continue to provide the software in maintenance mode.
Under Adobe’s new policy, there are no plans to discontinue Adobe Animate or make it inaccessible, and the company guarantees that it will continue to be provided to both existing and new users, ensuring continued access to content.
Existing users will be able to continue using Adobe Animate, and new users will also be able to download Animate.
Adobe Animate is now in maintenance mode for all users; while security fixes and bug fixes will be provided, no new features will be added.
The maintenance mode for Adobe Animate is indefinite, and at present there are no plans to discontinue Adobe Animate or make it inaccessible.
Adobe states that even if development circumstances change, it is committed to ensuring that Adobe Animate users can access their own content.

I've been using JavaScript more than my native language since birth. I am nowhere and everywhere on the internet.
I build web apps and browser extensions in TypeScript as a web frontend programmer. I released Shadowban Scanner, a tool that detects shadowbans on X, and Restore Link Card, a tool that brings back link cards. Media outlets in Japan and abroad covered both tools. For iGEM 2023, I built the Wiki for Team Japan-United and helped the team win the Grand Prize. On my blog, I cover news about X and social media, test and troubleshoot bugs, and share frontend development insights.
