Bug where Logitech devices stop working on macOS

Starting January 7 (JST), a bug occurred on macOS that caused some Logitech devices to stop working.

This bug was caused by the certificate used by the software "Logi Options+" and "G HUB" used for customizing Logitech devices expiring, which prevented these software applications from working on macOS.

Fix patch released, but manual application is required

Logitech has fixed this issue, but because the updater is also affected by the issue, the fix patch must be applied manually.

Even after applying the fix patch, settings and customizations will be preserved, but if you uninstalled the software before applying the patch, there is a possibility that the entire set of settings may be lost.

The fix patches for Logi Options+ and G HUB can be downloaded from Logitech's official website.

For Options+, you can apply the fix patch by downloading and running the installer.

For G HUB, download and run the installer, and when [software already exists] is displayed, exit the installer.

Conclusion

A fix patch has been released for the issue where some Logitech devices stopped working due to the expiration of the certificate for Logi Options+ and G HUB.

Because the fix patch is not applied automatically, manual action is required.
