Bug causing the chronological order of the Following timeline in X Pro to become disordered
X Pro is a power-user tool that allows multiple timelines that automatically update and scroll to be displayed.
It can be used by subscribing to the Premium plan or higher of the paid subscription service “X Premium.”
There are browser extensions that allow the former TweetDeck, which has almost the same functions as X Pro, to be used for free, but recently there have been incidents in which the accounts of users of the extension have been suspended one after another.

In X Pro, by displaying the [Following] timeline, posts by users you follow are shown one after another in real time, making it extremely convenient.
However, as of December 17, 2025 (JST), a bug has occurred in which the chronological order of posts displayed in the [Following] timeline of X Pro becomes disordered.
In addition, since posts by users you do not follow are also being displayed, it appears that posts that should originally be shown in the [For You] timeline are being displayed in the [Following] timeline.
Due to this bug, even though the [Following] timeline is being displayed, issues such as posts appearing out of chronological order and posts from shadowbanned accounts not being displayed are occurring.

Is there a solution?
As of the time of writing, no solution to this bug has been found, and it is necessary to wait for X to fix it.
Until the bug is fixed, you can achieve a state almost identical to the [Following] timeline by searching for filter:follows include:nativeretweets and displaying the [Latest] tab.
If you want to exclude replies, search for filter:follows include:nativeretweets.
However, note that these search results do not display posts from shadowbanned accounts or posts that have been judged as sensitive.

I've been using JavaScript more than my native language since birth. I am nowhere and everywhere on the internet.
I build web apps and browser extensions in TypeScript as a web frontend programmer. I released Shadowban Scanner, a tool that detects shadowbans on X, and Restore Link Card, a tool that brings back link cards. Media outlets in Japan and abroad covered both tools. For iGEM 2023, I built the Wiki for Team Japan-United and helped the team win the Grand Prize. On my blog, I cover news about X and social media, test and troubleshoot bugs, and share frontend development insights.
